When we were invited to produce a short video celebrating 175 years of the University of Huddersfield, we just had to yes! As alumni and now partners of the institution, not only do we have very strong professional ties but very personal connections as well. We couldn’t wait to talk with the University leaders and get their take on why the University is just so special to them. We spent 3 days filming, which included a number of interviews with the vice-chancellor and other pro-vice chancellors to eventually produce a film we were all very happy with. We also called in the help of the very talented Deryn Carr to provide his services behind the camera. Deryn did a great job and his support enabled us to take this relatively simple video concept to the next level. The film was shown at a celebration event organised by the University’s China office in Shanghai.
